Well, you probably already know a little bit about me or else I must have done an excellent job in search engine optimization. Besides, how often you see an interesting last name like mine. You probably wondering what nationality I am since my last name seems so "unique". Most people ask me how to pronounce it and most of the time they are more interested in finding out what nationality I am than their initial reason of visiting my online portfolio. Anyway, let me give you a run down of who I am.

My last name is actually composed of two different nationalities. My maiden last name is "Au" which is originated from China. I was born in Hong Kong and raised in the United States since I was 16. Second part of my last name "Thach" is from my beloved other half. It is originated from Vietnam. There you have it! Wait!! Don't close up the browser yet...there're much more interesting things about me than my last name!

Currently I work for a great and fun company (The Boyds Collection, Ltd.). The original creator of the world famous "Boyds Bears". What could me more fun to work in an environment that is filled with Teddy Bears all day long?! That's right. Teddy Bears!
The company is wonderful. The people here are the best! Everyone seems to share a genuine passion for what they do. The freedom to be creative and the abundance opportunity for professional growth are among the main reasons I have been with this company for almost 7 years.
Unfortunately, in early 2006, this company has faced some of the most difficult financial challenges and has decided to sell this company. Needless to say, I realize the necessity of creating this website and explore other opportunities out there.

I have posted my most updated resume on this website. It is also in three different file formats for your convenience. I also tried to showcase as much work samples as possible to give you an example the depth of what I do at this company. I have an extensive background in a lot of different areas ranging from Web-based Project management to Creating Conceptual Initiatives and Database management to Backend Coldfusion Development. When I started this career almost 9 years ago, I have noticed the shortage of resources that are talented and proficient in both the creative aspects and the technical aspects of the field. I believe I have managed to be equally expertise in both areas.

I love what I do and I believe only a person that has passion in what she/he does, can truly perform to his/her excellence! I always tell people I am semi - retired because I believe that when you are passionate of what you do, you are not just "working" or making a living , but you are indeed "retired" in your passionat world!
